Every lead I have received from another iTTL member has as been a qualified lead that has resulted in the kind of work I want to do - I needed iTTL, and didn't even know it! Thanks to iTTL, I am now getting to combine forces with some of the other talented people at iTTL to grow my business even more. iTTL has helped me work smarter. One or two hours a week - have produced more of the right kind of business for me than any other avenue I have pursued.

Awesome network. I have been a member of I Take The Lead in the Business to Consumer group for 2 years and the Business to Business group for 1 year. I can speak from experience; this organization has been a business builder for Allied Accounting & Tax Service, Inc. We grew 37% in the first year of my membership, which caused us growing beyond our borders. We grew so much larger that we had to move the business out of the home office and rent office space in the ‘real world’. The second year we grew 17% and we have had to hire a new part time employee. Business growing pains is a great problem to have, which brings me to the second and equally important reason I Take The Lead, Inc is beneficial for a business. Creating new business and personal relationships make these groups a close knit community of dedicated and passionate business people whose common goal is quality business services to the community and helping each other reach that goal. Within the organization the goal is to generate quality business leads to and from trustworthy business owners in your community you can confidently refer to. “You're are in good hands with I Take The Lead, Inc.”

I started with I Take The Lead in March of 2005. As the manager of Terra-Sol Landscaping (web: www.terrasollandscaping.com) we have been able to give and have received some really good business. In 2006 I became a Membership Coordinator for I Take The Lead so that I could help others build their business through this positive and supportive organization. In meeting the people in these groups, I have been able to confidently refer my friends, business associates and clients to good, reliable businesses with people I feel I can trust to do a great job. Hi Becky I just thought that I would pass along my experience with iTTL so far. I have attended meetings with 3 groups other than my home group and have felt very welcome. Something that I was struck by in each case was the sense of friendship and genuine desire of the group members to help each other out. I have also been networking with individuals that I have met through attending these meetings. As I result, I feel like I am gaining new business contacts and building reciprocal relationships. I have also attended two seminars which were sponsored by iTTL. They were both professional and well worth my time. Thank you for providing this valuable service! When I first started my business a little over a year ago, I was at a loss. We hadn\'t lived in Battle Ground for very long. I needed a way to meet people! A friend of mine in Seattle told me about a group called I Take The Lead. As luck would have it, there was a group right here in Battle Ground. I have been a member for just over a year now and recently became a Membership Coordinator. I Take The Lead has not only helped my business grow but it has also helped with my personal growth as well. I have learned to \"step outside the box!\" Along the way I have connected with some great people and made some wonderful friends.

Becky and Gene are the brains behind these I Take The Lead groups, and I highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a new way to increase their relationship circles...they definitely are quite different and actually fun. Integrity and all that good stuff. Don’t worry about wondering if you will get referrals, or if you will have problems bringing them. ITTL’s system is set up not to shame anyone, and also is formatted to help you with referrals both ways. It will be much easier to do business. And I have never gotten a referral that was cold. They have all been warm leads, and in a couple of cases they were quite hot and couldn’t wait to hear from me. These groups just seem to attract the right people. The way that I Take The Lead, especially B2B, is set up is much more effective then many of the other well known ones that I have been to in the past.

Do you want to grow your business? Looking to develop some new business contacts? I have been a member of I Take the Lead (a professional leads organization) for about 3 years and it has generated over $50k in additional income just from the members of my group. Why not check it out?

After reviewing potential benefits and a very warm welcome from local I Take The Lead members, I decided to join the group. Almost immediately I found several members who were offering services that I was in need of. What a relief! I had been looking for someone to help me with promotional materials for some time. In addition to that, I began receiving referrals from local members who needed tax and accounting services. In conclusion, my experience with I Take The Lead has been quite profitable so far. I am so glad that I Take The Lead came to Colorado! The concept and flexibility are fabulous and I knew that business networking would work if given time and consistent effort. New friends and great business connections are the immediate result...and the referrals are flying!

I have been in I Take The Lead for over two years and it has been a wonderful experience. Four days a week, while my competitors are having lunch and fortifying themselves to go back to their office to make cold calls, I am networking with business professionals throughout the Portland/Vancouver area. Becky and Gene have built a network of groups, particularly the B to B groups, that help you build contacts, friendships and your business. I Take the Lead meetings are great for experienced and novice net-workers. The members are very good at mentoring newer members and the quarterly evening events provide additional training and networking opportunities. Networking can fundamentally change the way you do business by making you better at whatever you do. The focus moves to your clients and your networking partners, think of them first and your business explodes. On a personal note, when something happens in your life such as a death of a family member or a spouse being diagnosed with cancer...Becky and Gene are very likely the first two people you will hear from. This is clearly more than a business for them, they care about people and the growth of I Take the Lead reflects this caring. I highly recommend I Take the Lead for any business professional.

I recently started a business designing websites. I immediately joined I Take The Lead because I believe in the Networking concept. Joining this group has introduced me to people and businesses that I would not have otherwise met. These people have been very helpful in building my business. Because of I Take the Lead I have been able to quit a part-time job and focus on building my business as my only full time profession. I would recommend I Take the Lead to anyone who is serious about building a client base.

After starting my in-home computer repair company on a shoestring budget, I started looking for inexpensive ways to market my business. I tried paying some teens to hand out fliers at the Vancouver Farmers Market. Over three (non-consecutive) weekends they distributed over 1,500 fliers. I got two responses from that. I regularly posted ads on Craigs List. Got several inquiries - not one led to an appointment. I even tried an insert in a newspaper. Not one response. I was invited to an iTTL meeting and was impressed with the member's enthusiasm, and how they seemed genuinely interested in promoting each other's business. After attending two meetings I joined iTTL. In the three months I've been an iTTL member, I've gotten more business through it than I'd been able to generate on my own in the prior year. I'm a big fan of iTTL and highly recommend it to anyone looking to increase their business.

I have been a member of I Take The Lead in both B2C and B2B groups for over 4 years. It has been fantastic for the development of my business. I have received multiple leads that have turned into long term clients. Also, I have been able to network with other business professionals that have added value to my agency. Thank you.

I would recomend "I Take The Lead" to anyone! Our business is seasonal and since I have been a member of the Macadam B2B and the Vancouver B2B our slow summer and slow Decembers are a thing of the past, thanks to the leads and business that I get from "I Take The Lead."

Louise and I wanted to take the time to share our excitement for I Take the Lead. Becky, I wanted to share we just got done getting GEO Thermal installed with Charles Company, Columbia NW Heating and Air Conditioning. First they did a great job, and I would be happy to share with anyone interested. Second, who says it does not pay to go visit other groups. Charles was a frequent visitor at our B to C in Tansabourne. He got $34,000.00 worth of business with Mark and I. We asked him to come talk to us, as we were already interested in the technology and Charles shared the government is giving you 1/3 of the cost back, with NO CAP. We were not the only business generated for him from that group.

i Take the Lead works: As a business owner with a unique and innovative marketing solution, the challenge of getting that twenty minute first-time meeting with a prospective new client can be the toughest bottleneck in the sales process. Most businesses receive so many cold calls from people they do not know, that understandably they are not willing or able to pursue each and every meeting invite. Like most fellow business owners, during such calls one can observe various degrees of hesitation, lack of trust and even defensiveness and closed mindedness - which is one of the reasons why I joined i Take the Lead. The previous week I was given my first qualified lead and was introduced to a local restaurant owner here in Seattle. Immediately I was pleasantly surprised by the warm reception and interest I received from the owner. She showed a genuine interest in what we had to offer and was eager to set up an appointment. At our meeting she was very open to brainstorming different scenarios and ideas, asked great questions and at the outset requested an official business proposal that she could share with her partners. While the process is still ongoing, win or lose I think it speaks highly of the difference i Take the Lead makes. It is one thing to hear about how a qualified lead can make such an important difference, but I assure you that it is so much more appreciated when experienced first hand. Look forward to generating and receiving many more qualified leads, Sincerely, Tolga

Sentimental Moment--Because of ittl, I have met some of the most wonderful people!! Plus, I have a new outlook on several different businesses. When I first came to a "ittl" meeting, I thought that I might not "fit in" because of the content of my business and I felt a little intimidated by all the other businesses. I honestly did not expect to receive leads for at least 6-12 months. I was obviously wrong--my business has "skyrocketed"!! My business has benefited in so many ways from the education, information, and my favorite--camaraderie from other ittl members. Thank You:)

I attended one of the B2B-Business to Business lunch meetings and met Jenny Cohen of Eschelon Telecom. Jenny called me a couple of days later and offered a lead for Hospice of Washington County. They are moving in May-perfect advanced timing for me. Jenny mentions me and my company, WDI, to them. The Hospice people had received two estimates with a large price spread between them. When I contacted Hospice of Washington County I was eagerly- can you believe that?- greeted and trusted because of Jennys intro. I was able to do my proposal, and review the other two proposals with them. They were open to my suggestions and appreciated my appraisal of the other two quotes. My plan for them offered a level of service beyond the other two, with my price point right in the middle. In half the usual time I was accepted as a member of their team and given the project.

I just wanted to state how beneficial I find I Take The Lead. I have now been a participant since March 2005 and have found the group very rewarding to my business. I have seen the group grow from approximately 18 groups when I first joined to what are now 53. That is phenomenal growth in such a short time, but it is also a gauge of how awesome this networking group is.

"I have been a member of ITTL for over 4 years and can honestly say that it has been my primary source of business. It's so nice not to have to purchase leads, make cold calls... unless I want to. This has also been a wonderful way to connect to other businesses that can benefit my clients. I have become a resource and my clients now call me."

Hi, my name is Donna Jenkins, and I had just gotten started with I Take The Lead B2B with my new business…. Which wasn’t really official yet, my website wasn’t up, I didn’t have my business cards… but I got a voice job at my first meeting just from telling people in my sixty second commercial what I did for a living! Hey… it doesn’t get any easier than this to grow your business! I will recommend “I Take The Lead” to all my colleagues! Thank you Gene and Becky!

My first seminar went GREAT. It quickly sold out, maxing the room with 12 people, and 9 of them were from i Take The Lead. I don't think I would have had nearly as much success without i Take The Lead. I am very happy with the help you and iTTL were able to give me. Thanks!

Becky is a multi-talented leader. She has a destination in mind and strives to reach the goal. She has devoted so much time into making Take the Lead into an extremely successful business that not only satisfies her but also satisfies all her clients. We can't say enough good stories about the work Becky does.

I Take The Lead has an approach to networking that rivals Gandhi’s approach to violence – intelligent, not forceful; altruistic, not self-serving. When you come to a meeting you will notice a difference in the composition of individuals, and their conversation. Very rarely will members speak of their own business accomplishments or referrals distributed, but rather engage in acknowledging each other’s success and being appreciative for the contributions made to their business by other members. This selfless attitude is taught, encouraged and demonstrated by leadership at iTTL. It permeates its existence because that is its foundation. Becky and Gene have reached out to the community through numerous charitable organizations while their primary business is serving success to their chosen community of business professionals. I Take the Lead has grown to 50 groups because the fundamentals of each are sound, as are the processes and the leadership’s ability to assist its members in professional growth. The premise is simple: I Take the Lead is for people who want their primary business to be making a difference in other people’s professional lives – reciprocation is the favor of karma. Thank you Becky and Gene!

After recently joining I take the Lead I have already made several connections across the home improvement/remodeling industry and I have seen that ITT will be a valuable tool for my business for years to come. Everyone I have met in my group has genuinely expressed that they would like to see me and my business a success. The great people in I take the lead are what truly makes it so successful for its members! I would highly recommend ITT to anyone wanting to build a strong network for their business.

Thank you, Becky, for the warm welcome. As soon as I decided to “restart” my business, renewing my I Take the Lead membership was my first priority. I’m looking forward to attending many meetings in the area and start networking with all of the members. Warmest regards, Steve Smith

Becky and Gene: I wanted to let you know how impressed I was with your networking meeting last night. I had belonged to BNI for many years and found it did not produce the leads that they promised. Last night I recieved more leads in one night than I did in one year with BNI. People were coming to me for more details on the products and mold testing that I offer in my environmental consulting business. Needless to say, I feel I've already paid for my membership! I really look forward to our meetings on Friday at Village Inn and also look forward to helping the group to grow. I've already invited half a dozen people to attend this Friday. Regards, Valerie

When I first started I Take The Lead's Business-2-Business group, I was impressed by the way it was structured. The approach was one of "How can I help you" vs "How can you help me." The value in this structure is very powerful. Not only does this philosophy result in more business for me but it also helps strengthen my networking skills. Bottom Line: When you give, you get. I Take The Lead not only helps you build your business, it reminds you of why you got into business in the first place.

I Take the Lead has been very beneficial for me in growing my printing and design business! I have experience with both B2B and B2C groups and cannot say enough good things about both. I have been a part of several different lead referral groups and the B2B I Take the Lead is definitely my favorite. I get regular business through the network of business people that I have gotten to know through this organization. Gene and Becky are definitely visionaries who have put together a system and an organization that truly works.

To Whom It May Concern: I just wanted to pass along my recommendation for the I Take the Lead organization. Without question, it has been the #1 reason my company grew 67% last year. The contacts, we have made, have been some of the highest quality I have ever come across. The value of joining and paying $25 per month is so inexpensive for this weekly networking opportunity not to mention the events they put together. I would encourage anyone that is considering joining to stop considering it, and just do it. It is a small investment to make to build your business in a huge way. I was the top rep in the country for Cutco knives out of a field of 100,000 before I joined, and now I don’t even have any competition. In the year since I joined, the new clients that have been generated will produce an excess of $80,000 of income per year from now on for me. My excitement about this organization is unmatched with any other. Feel free to contact me personally with any questions you may have. Gene and Becky are the very best at what they do. Marketing Tip of the Day

A Killer Elevator Speech

You have exactly 3.5 seconds (yes, SECONDS!!!  We live in the computer, strike that, we live in the Internet age) to fascinate any person who asks you what you do, so you'd better be ready to spike that ball when it's set up like that for you.  You know what I'm talking about: You need an elevator speech. When people ask me what is the single most important thing they can do to market their businesses successfully, I have what looks like a very simple answer: Create a killer elevator speech. Yeah it sounds simple but it is probably the biggest challenge many entrepreneurs face (and that's saying something!)  But it can be done (and done well,) and I've got a great free tool that you can use to create your own killer elevator speech.  Simply click onto Ronnie's website and click onto tools.               Ronnie Noize, the Marketing Coach- www.veronikanoize.com
